I love the idea of a treasure hunt based upon historic circumstances. When my grown kids were little (our daughter is 3 years older than our twin sons who were probably 3 or 4 for the treasure hunt party) It was a far geographically smaller one in our backyard that ended in a treasure chest where the party favors were. I had as much fun setting it up as the kids did searching for the treasure. Such good times.
A just right read after a long drive back to town from the Highlands. Yesterday a big rain that conked thru breakfast. One pothole induced flat on our van in actually the middle of nowhere on Skye. Off to Norway. Hopefully they’ll win their match. All would be jolly then.
Oh my, so impressed. I spent years doing Valentine’s Day treasure hunts with clues and a little something with each clue.
Same with Christmas and Birthdays. One year I was working out of town and set it all up for (ex) husband to execute. She still talks about all of the scavenger hunts Daddy used to do
